How to get cheap micro web cam

Micro CCD web cam modules are too expensive, but web cams for PCs are too big.

We need a small but cheap web cam module to mount on the Joker Racer devices.
So what should we do?

Ok, here's the step.

1. Get cheap web cam. We recommend Logicool's $30-50 web cams.

2. diassemble it.

3. Take the cover away.

4. You got it!

We recommend you to create your own USB cabel as the original one is too long for Joker Racer.

Enjoy!

Though the above is a concept model (and 3 hour labor), controlling something over the internet is just fun, isn't it?

Drive Akihabara with Joker Racer

It is still just a prototype, but we are now test driving Akihabara, which is a famous electrical town in Japan.

Sorry, it is just a background image... but getting closer to our concept.

started iPhone prototyping

It would be nice if you can drive wifi control car from iPhone.

So we started prototyping.

The above shows that iPhone has a quite accurate "sensor".

Our application will send HTTP request to the server from iPhone, as you see above.
